How do I enter the system?
Existing OASIS account: enter your login and password and then click on the 'Continue' button. If you have forgotten your login details, select 'Click here if you have forgotten your password.' The information will be sent to your account email address.
Create a new OASIS account: select 'Click here to create a new user account'.




Which browsers are supported?
This system has been optimized for current browsers.
We recommend:
Internet Explorer 7 for Windows and Safari for Mac OS.

Please note that you must also have JavaScript enabled in your browser preferences in order for the system to function properly.



Can I submit the same abstract more than once?
No. The submission of duplicate abstracts (identical content) will lead to the immediate rejection of the abstract(s) involved.



Can I submit case reports?
No. Ordinary case reports (three or fewer cases) will not be accepted! The reviewers are instructed to filter these out. We recommend submitting case reports to EURORAD (www.eurorad.org).



Which language do I have to use for my abstract?
We can only accept abstracts written in English.



How do I create a new abstract submission?
The system will guide you through the submission process. More detailed information can be found in the instructions:

Can I include references, graphics, etc. into my abstract?
Please do not include references, acknowledgements, graphics, tables or figures in your abstract body as these will not be published in the abstract book.



Is there a word/character limit?
The abstract body is limited to 250 words.



Can I make corrections to a submitted abstract?
You can edit or delete your abstract online at any time before September 18, 2010.
If you wish to withdraw your abstract after that date you must inform the ESR Office in writing by email.

Please note: if you remove any required information, this abstract may no longer be complete. After making any changes, please return to this summary by clicking "Review my Work" to confirm it is complete after all changes have been made.




Are there any affirmations, which I need to confirm?
Yes, each submitter must agree to the following conditions:
• All authors are aware that their names appear on this abstract.
• I understand that if this abstract is accepted, ESR ('European Society of Radiology') will hold the copyright.


When is the deadline for abstract submission?
The deadline for abstract submission is September 18, 2010 (midnight CEST).



When will I get my notification of acceptance or rejection?
Detailed notifications of acceptance and guidelines for presentation will be sent by email at the end of November 2010. An early notification will be available at the beginning of November.



Do I have to register for ECR 2011?
Presenters of accepted scientific papers will have to register for ECR 2011. The online registration tool will be accessible from September 1, 2010 onwards at www.myESR.org.

Please note, that presenters (no first or second authors) who have paid their ESR membership fee by October 27, 2010, can attend ECR 2011 for a reduced fee of €150.
